The term “Integrative Psychiatry” refers to the care and treatment of patients suffering from all psychiatric-psychological disorders and moderate medical comorbidities.
On ward 18 B, we treat all psychiatric disorders and coexisting comorbidities (for example treatment of patients who have depression and coexisting multiple sclerosis or have recently suffered a stroke or heart attack) ensuring other disciplines are also consulted.
For ínpatients from other disciplines with a comorbid psychiatric disorder, we offer the psychiatric-consultation-service for concurrent therapy.
In case of emergency you can contact our "help line" 24 hours a day (tel: +49 30 8445 - 2710) for detailed advice and assistance.
Patients also have the possibility to consult the attending psychiatrist in the emergency room Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday / Sunday 8:00 AM to 10 PM. Outside of these times, you can consult the attending psychiatrist at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Eschenallee 3, 14050 Berlin (Berlin-Charlottenburg).
Research: In cooperation with the Module for Affective Disorders we conduct clinical trials for patients with affective disorders (depression and bipolar disorder). For detailled information, please click here.
