The aging process can be associated with slowly progressive memory disorder or other impairments of cognitive ability (e.g. orientation). These changes are often accompanied by a deterioration of mood (depression). Sleeping disorders or lack of appetite may occure in this context as well.
Even mild cognitive impairments should be taken seriously, no matter if they appear with or without depressive symptons.
An early diagnosis of even mild disorders enables the detection and the treatment of diseases in their initial stage. The earlier a disease is diagnosed the more treatment options can be considered and this can help to improve quality of life for the patient and his/her family.
Using a large variety of modern methods we can distinguish if the symptoms are caused by a brain disorder or a temporary functional disorder (e.g. hyper- or hypothyroidism, vitamin deficiency, ect. ).
The diagnostics include all necessary medical, neuropsychological and other ancillary examinations. It takes several appointments in our clinic to complete the diagnosis.
We offer our neuropsychological screenings in Russian and Turkish as well.
